NOTES ON THE PAINTING:    At Indian Head Mountain,  there are numerous boulders and outcrops that could have been the source of the naming of the Mountain, no one really knows.     But from a certain strip on highway 118 on Bee Mountain in Terlingua,  there are two definite heads (one in the Big Bend National Park, and the other right outside the park's border)  that frame the view of the Chisos Mountains and the Window.   see the actual photograph of Indian Head below.    
 
 

Painting is on exhibit at RANCHO FANDANGO,  located at the junction of 118 and 170,  1/4 mile south of the Terlingua Texas Postoffice.
They are open Monday through Saturday, hours 11am to 9pm.
