1.5 inches of rain caught from the roof fills up this 1500 gallon tank. I use the rain water for watering trees and plants, and various tasks, saving the well water for household use. With more tanks, one could easily catch 20,000 to 30,000 gallons from a 1500 sq. ft. roof.
